The Bridge - FINAL
in Lumion Landscape
The Hjørundfjorden
Final model in Lumion Landscape
Inspired by the De Stijl movement, and minimalism, the building is made up straight lines, extending from the landscape, and consists of monochromatic color schemes. This futuristic, modern approach to the design of the bridge is an architectural school, providing students with multiple facilities for academic purposes.
Architectural School | The Bridge
Mostly made out of marble, stone, and glass, the bridge allows people to be more connected to its landscape. The transparency of the building allows a more permeable experience. Besides that, the usage of natural lighting in the building connects it to its bright, white snowy landscape. The experience of being connected to the landscape, being an extension of the landscape inspired the design of the bridge.
Main Entrance to the School
The entrance is a wide stone walkway, which on both sides consists of spectacular breathtaking views of the fjord.
Main Space
The main space was designed so that the building seems transparent, almost every section of the building can be seen, and the open bright space is always within the view.
Offices for Academic and General Staff (Right)
The offices for the staff, on different levels are accessed through a lift, and the transparent glass surrounding each office block allows a unique work environment.

Stair Access to Student Facilities
The transparent glass underneath the stair access to the student spaces allows people to view the lift and the folly underneath, connecting the bridge to its landscape, also allowing a breathtaking view of its absolute insane height from the bottom of the valley.
Meeting Room for Students
Natural lighted spaces for student spaces. The monochromatic schemes supports the idea of minimalism, elegance and simplicity.

Leisure Space for Students and Staff / Outdoor Cafeteria Space
Extended from the other side of the valley, the leisure space is "cropped out" from its landscape, a big space made out of stone, for students or staff to take a break from work, and used as a social space.
The Folly
Interior of the Folly
Dining space/meeting space included in the folly, for monthly meetings.

Texture 2 in use, The Leisure Space
Texture 3 in use, The Moving Element (lift from the Folly to the Bridge)
The moving element, the lift from the bridge to the folly, connects with the folly as a whole, and also connects with the bridge when it goes up. Being a part of the building, a sense of connection is created, and people on the moving folly are able to experience the movement, between upper and lower space, and its amazing landscape.
